In olden times Eritrean elders used to gather under the cool shades of the Memona
tree to discuss community issues and offer words of wisdom.
This page is setup with the objective to bring together people who believe
in offering concrete solutions and sharing words of wisdom.

EriTree Announces Raffle Winners! |

EriTree Canada is pleased to announce that it has
raised Can$ 45,000 net of expenses through its
successful fundraising campaign called Real Survivors’
Project (RSP).
The project was launched in December
2000 with the objective to raise funds and alleviate
the sufferings of Eritrean children.
Thanks to the
dedication and hard work of our volunteers, we were
able to reach thousands of generous donors worldwide
and successfully achieve our goal.
As part of the RSP program, all donors were given an
opportunity to participate in a contest draw for a
chance to win one the following prizes:
- 1st prize: Can$ 10,000 (value of a brand new car)
- 2nd prize: Can$ 2,000 (value of a return ticket to a destination of choice)
- 3rd prize: Can$ 200 (value of a satellite dish)
- 4th prize: Can$ 100 (value of cell phone)
The contest draw was held on September 2, 2001 at the
Toronto Festival Night and the lucky winners are:

- Ticket # 13946 (No name given)
- Kiflom - ticket # 13910
