EriTree is a non-governmental organization (NGO), based in Toronto, Canada. EriTree has recently launched the Real Survivors
Project (RSP). The purpose of this project is to raise money to help the Internally Displaced People (IDP), particularly the innocent
children, in Eritrea.
In an effort to keep people informed and engaged, EriTree is asking all interested people to write a short article regarding the current
situation of the displaced children in Eritrea. During this time when much discussion is focused on the peace keeping process, EriTree
would like to remind its supporters that the suffering of children returning to destroyed homes is far from over. They will still need our
continued support and compassion.
EriTree encourages the interested people, particularly those who are currently visiting or living in Eritrea, to participate and give an
eyewitness account to the current situation of the IDP’s in general. The aim is to boost EriTree’s current project, RSP, by posting the
articles on all Eritrean related websites. In addition it will increase the awareness of the ongoing situation of the Eritrean children.
The format of the article should be one page in length under a heading “Dispatch From Eritrea”. EriTree encourages every one to participate, including children, in order to make the
Real Survivors Project successful. At this moment EriTree would like to thank all participants and please spread the news to other
potential participants.
